Hi I made the smallest size which looks very nice. But I just wanted to ask as the neck is obviously meant to be wide. But I am just a bit concerned if too wide for a small baby? 0 to 3 months size. Thank you very much for all your work!

Hi, I love this pattern but am having a bit of trouble understanding. You said that the chain 1 on each row doesn’t count as a stitch so I was starting the next round by doing the first stitch into the same stitch that I slip stitched in to join. I thought that’s what I saw on the second round of the sole, but when I did the same thing on subsequent rows, it made the bootie all misaligned and sideways. So I watched your video more closely and not sure but it looks like after joining with a slip stitch to the first stitch, you don’t crochet in that stitch but start with the second stitch. So I crocheted another bootie doing that and it worked out somewhat better although the slip stitch line slants to the left a little. Could you give me some clarification on this as I’m not able to see very clearly on the video, especially on the sole with the cream yarn. Thank you very much.
